Healthy Habits

With the onset of summer, you may be trying to make a few healthy changes. An article by Care2 make a difference recently offered some easy tips from around the globe to do just that. Tips included eating in more often and making nuts a part of your diet. What healthy habits have you observed in your experiences around the world?

    When I was in Europe several years ago, I was surprised at how long we were in a restaurant and it took forever. I asked the waiter why and he replied that the restaurant doesn’t rush anyone, they want you to enjoy your food and let the food digest.

    • Hi Elizabeth. Thank you for your comment. I noticed the same thing. In the U.S., it seems like waitresses are pressured to ‘turn over tables’ to get the most people in and out. In France, however, I don’t recall ever receiving the check for a meal until I specifically asked for one.
